Montgenèvre, Whistler & Oz…

Another busy weekend for our riders, and for Anne Caro we can even say a busy week as she just come back from Whister where she has literaly dominated the 3 events she entered : The Garbanzo (Marathon DH, the Enduro and the Air Line (DH Sprint). First place on all those races and in front of riders such as Emmeline RAGOT and Rachel ATHERTON in the DH sprint...

On the French Cup side, the SUNN riders were in Oz en Oisans for the 3rd round of the French Cup. For her come back on a bike, Anaïs is taking the 6th place and Mitch is on 8th. Once again the main highlight of the weekend is the young guns : Loïc BRUNI the cadet riders from Team US Cagnes VTT is taking his Radical to the 5th position (scratch time !) and is now at the 2nd place of the general French Cup ranking ! And what can we say about Sandra REYNIER of Team SUNN Lac Blanc, also in the cadet category, taking the victory of this French Cup at only 16 years old !

During the same time, the alpine resort of Montgenèvre was organising the final round of the Offroad race with events such as XC, Marathon and Enduro. Yannick PONTAL was there to represent the Team SUNN Enduro and at the satisfaction of all, he takes the win in front of Thibaut Legastelois and Nicolas Quéré.

"It was a great event with quality tracks and great scenery. I wanted to thanks all the Montgenèvre staff for organising this event and I’m sure that Montgenèvre will become soon a reference in the enduro scene" was saying Yannick has he was stepping down the podium.
