Cycling around the world, an amazing adventure

Olympic Games and World Championships are not the only events at which great sports and human achievements take place. Take a look at the adventure of this couple who are currently cycling around the world.

They sold everything they had and left family and friends behind. She, Sonya Spry, Australian and he, Aaldrik Mulder, Dutch; left Arnhem, The Netherlands on the 31st of July 2006 for an outstanding adventure.

They are in Argentina at the moment; they have already cycled over 45 000km, crossed almost 50 borders and suffered “only” 111 flat tires! And the trip isn’t over yet, as they aim to reach Melbourne, Australia in 2012 after cycling through North Africa, Middle-East, Asia and around Australia (whao!).

Even more amazing than their adventure itself, is the passion and energy they put into their travel stories. They regularly add content to their website such as stories, photos, videos, fun facts and loads of tips to travel to the countries, they have visited. And more important, they never forget to thank all the people who they shared a moment of their adventure with.
