BMX, Enduro, DH... on all terrains !
Some weekend are better than others !
SUNN has decided to come back in the BMX business with Olympic Champion Anne Caro CHAUSSON as a luxery consultant. We also wanted talented riders to push the products to the limit and represent the brand so we have selected a promising rider Sylvain ANDRE (no family link with Simon ANDRE !). This season, Sylvain is surprising everyone by scoring podiums in Elite category even if he’s still a junior. We are all very impressed by this rider.
Mathematicaly ensured to win the Junior European Champion title even before next week final in Norway, Sylvain has been dominating the French Championship final in Tregeux last weekend and takes the 2010 Junior French Champion Title ! We will follow him at the worlds in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa at the end of July to see if he can take the rainbow jersey before officialy jump into the Elite category.
On the other side, Simon ANDRE and Yannick PONTAL were at the 3rd round of the Trophée Régional Enduro. This is his race resume :
"After a one month trip all over France to attend the enduro races, the team SUNN enduro is back in the south of France in Citou near Carcassonne.
The Trophée Régional Enduro is sponsored by SUNN and his also counting for the Charger Quest competition. Vinz the organiser is doing a great job by creating great races combining both physical and technical challenge with a fantastic scenery.
After all last weeks efforts we decide Yannick and myself to ride the Kern as the uphill are supposed to be quite tough. This was a good strategy and I finish in 1st place and Yannick in 2nd place !
Even if I’ve been racing a lot recently it was good to know that I’m still in good shape and that this time I’m on the top spot after several second places.
Yannick takes the 1st place at the general ranking and I’m second.
It was a really cool weekend with true enduro lovers here to ride and enjoy the race more than anything. I can’t wait the next rounds !"
On their side the team SUNN MONTGENEVRE was in Super Besse for the second round of the french cup.
Anaïs, still injured on her shoulder, is finishing in a 6th position not really in relation with her real level. Mitch on his side has a big crash on his final round. He goes back on the bike and decides to rip it hard for the rest of the run but unfortunatly crash again. He finishes in 12th position...
On the Team Flow side, fantastic performance of Loïc BRUNI who finishes in 6th position scratch ! Of course he wins the Cadet category and is even in front of all the Juniors...
Sandra REYNIER has also impressed her opponents on the bridge jump and finishes in 4th position scratch and wins easly the junior category.
