SHAMANN !!

It was a long wait but it was definitely worth it… The new Shamann is here ! After some hard work to finalise the frame details, validate them with our rigourous test rides and create a unique color/artworks process, we are now revealing our new XC Marthon chassis.
This 100mm travel bike has been well thought on every details. The goal was to create a lightweight bike aiming at performance racing whith great motricity and always the distinctive SUNN's geometries giving maximum enjoyment when riding. The frame uses Alpha Tubing series giving both lightness and stiffness. All the axles are aluminium anodised and work on sealed bearings. The Rock Shox Monarch rear shock has been especially prepared internaly to suit perfectly the cinematic of the bike.
All the pivots have been thoroughly positionned to ensure a cinematic that will not be affected by the pedaling effect and most importantly to give maximum motricity and grip on the rear wheel. Many brands seem to forget this essential aspect of their XC fulll suspension frame even thought this is what allow the rider to stay on his bike no matter how rough the terrain is. Of course this means a great pedal efficiency and less time walking on the technical sections !
Some more tech infos… the low ratio between the travel of the rear wheel and the travel of the 190mm length rear shock itself allows lower presssure and results in a shock using the full potential of the hydrolique side. This aspect of the bike gives an incredible grip (= more motricity) and avoid bottom out in case of big impacts (= more speed) !![]()
Thoses bikes can be called pre 09 as they are using a 09 frame and are introducing the "Le labo" concept. So what is "Le labo" ? "Le labo" is born from a simple observation, riders like to have custom build bikes and don't want to have the same bike than everyone. Today, most of the brands offer only one color per model with some of them having a few color options.
SUNN has steppin up the offer with "Le labo" which is also launching the new Shamann.
How does it works ?
When you will buy your Shamann, you will first have to choose your range pack (Neo, Evo or Exo)...nothing new at this step. It's after that SUNN is coming with "Le labo" concept : You can choose from 3 different graphical/color option. For the Shamann you will have the following finition "Celtic", "Legacy" or "Organic" ! And this is completly new in the bike industry !!
Some new finitions can arrive at any time during the season... this is also this "Le labo" !
